A three-day ToT on Political Education and Mobilization of Young Women Leaders was recently held by Awaz e Niswan under the JAZBA project. JAZBAs Local Resource Persons (LRP’s) from Nawabshah, Thatta,Karachi,Sakhar, Mardan, Nowshera, Charsadda, Hyderabad, Ghizar, Sargodha, Quetta, Sibbi, Gwadar, Turbat, Rawalpindi, Sargodha, Faislabad, Okara, Jhang, Layyah, Ghotki,Nankana, Lahore, Peshawar and Gilgit were part of the training. The purpose of the training workshop was to familiarize the participants with AAN, its rationale, objectives and methodology which AF and SAPPK will replicate in their respective districts. Moreover, the training workshop aimed to educate and inform participants on important issues and topics pertaining to women voters like voter and political education, politics, democracy, communication and its different strategies.
Three-day activity ensured equal learning opportunities and inclusivity of all the participants. For this purpose, facilitator engaged participants in different individual and group activities which helped participants in grasping the core concept of the issues discussed. At the end of the three-day activity, certificates were distributed among the participants.
