Three-day ToT on Women’s Political Education and Mobilization under JAZBA

A three-day AAN ToT on Political Education and Mobilization of Young Women Leaders was recently held under the project “Jamhooriat aur Ba- Ikhtiyar Aurat” (JAZBA) in Islamabad from 17th -19th December 2020. Women Participants from Sakhar, Mardan, Hyderabad, Ghizar, Sargodha, Quetta, Rawapindi, Peshawar and Gilgit were part of the training. The purpose of the training workshop was to familiarise the participants with AAN, its rationale, objectives and methodology which AF and SAPPK will replicate in their respective districts. Moreover, the training workshop aimed to educate and inform participants on important issues and topics pertaining to women voters like voter and political education, politics, democracy, communication and its different strategies.

Three-day activity ensured equal learning opportunities and inclusion of all the participants. For this purpose, facilitator engaged participants in different individual and group activities which helped participants in grasping the core concept of the issues discussed. At the end of the three-day activity, certificates were distributed among the participants.
