Young Women leaders identified active community women from the political awareness sessions who wished to work further on the issues of women in their communities and support political mobilization efforts in the community. These women were then provided with an intensive one day training to equip them with information and mobilization techniques. So far almost a 1000 women have been identified and one day training are taking place across the ten districts.
In some districts the women have gone on to form local AAN chapters, holding elections for the 5 member Executive Committee.
