Awaz-e-Niswan (AAN), under Jazba Project, organized a two-day training on ‘Gender Sensitive Reporting Skills” to build the capacities of journalists, the district correspondents of print and electronic media to enhance the visibility of women as voters. The training was conducted on February 25 –26, 2021 at Pakistan Institute of Labour Education and Research (PILER), Karachi. Around 15 correspondents from Sindh and Balochistan participated in the training. The training focused on women’s rights movement, challenges faced by women in political participation and how reporting on women concerns by media can empower and encourage women voters.

The training was conducted on March 2-3, 2021 at Hotel Royal, Lahore. Around 12 media correspondents from Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhawa participated in the training. The training focused on women’s rights movement, challenges faced by women in political participation and how reporting on women concerns by media can empower and encourage women voters.
